Celebrating 72 Years Breeding Black Angus Genetics

Black Diamond Ranch bought their first registered angus heifer in 1951 by Loy Glause and his brothers. Later, Loy branched off on his own and continued breeding black angus cattle at Lazy Black Diamond Ranch (LBDR). Loy's sons, Kevin, Galen, Brian & Clayton continued LBDR as the second generation. In 2010, Morgan Glause invested in the herd and is now the third generation angus ranch. 2023 marks the 72nd year the Glause Family has been selling registered angus bulls. We feel the cattle we raise benefit the commercial and registered breeders.
